The Purelux Multi-Switch Dashboard Controller is a versatile and user-friendly switch panel designed for controlling up to four separate electrical devices, such as work lights, beacons, fans, or even a seat heater. This makes it an excellent solution for work machines, trucks, or other vehicles where multiple devices need to be operated conveniently from one place. Each device can be turned on or off individually, while the central master switch allows you to turn off all connected devices at once.

The panel supports three different functions for each switch: steady on/off, momentary (only on when held), and flashing. This eliminates the need for separate relays for strobe functionality. Changing modes is simple: double-press the “Mode” button, select the switch you want to configure, and the function is updated. A built-in memory function ensures the system powers up in the same mode it was last used, making operation seamless and intuitive.

To enhance usability, the controller features an RGB backlight that automatically adjusts brightness based on the environment and can also be turned off with a single press of the “Mode” button. Included are 45 pre-made symbol stickers and 5 customizable labels, so each switch can be clearly marked to match its function. The backlit symbols ensure excellent visibility, even at night.

Built to handle heavy loads, the Multi-Switch Controller supports up to 480W at 12V or 960W at 24V, with each circuit protected by its own fuse in the included control box. Circuit 1 is rated for 30A, circuit 2 for 20A, circuit 3 for 10A, and circuit 4 for 5A. A residual current device (40A) provides additional protection. The controller is IP65-rated for durability and suitable for use in demanding environments.

Quick wiring guide

  • Power: Connect the main red cable from the battery (or other fixed positive) through the residual current device to the fuse box. Connect the black ground cable to the vehicle chassis and the fuse box ground point.
  • Switch panel: Connect the 4-pole cable from the panel to the matching socket on the fuse box.
  • Excitation current: If you want the devices to operate only when the vehicle is running, connect the excitation current cable to an ignition-switched source (e.g. cigarette lighter or ignition switch). If you want them to work even when the vehicle is off, connect directly to the battery positive. Plug the 2-pole excitation cable into the fuse box.
  • Connecting devices: Connect each device to outputs 1–4 on the fuse box, making sure the device current matches the circuit capacity.
  • Overloads: If connected devices exceed the controller’s limits, use the controller to trigger relays, so only the excitation current passes through the controller while the main current is handled by the relay harness.
